US Foods in Baton Rouge is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver to safely navigate highways and urban streets, back into docks, and unload with precision. You’ll be a trusted link to customers, delivering with reliability and excellence.

The role requires safety focus, efficiency, and strong customer service, with early morning shifts starting at 2:00 AM. Training wage is paid during onboarding and full benefits follow.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unloading: 100% touch freight using two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand.
• Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.
