Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to support food service distribution nationwide. The role involves driving tractor trailers or straight trucks, delivering and unloading products to customers, and ensuring timely and safe arrival while adhering to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, load securement, paperwork accuracy, and maintaining hours-of-service compliance; the position requires flexibility with shifts and a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL-A license.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Must meet state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Have or obtain a valid DOT health card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards.
• Inspect trailer, verify loads, and complete required paperwork.
• Secure tractor, trailer and freight at all times; unload damaged goods and returns and complete paperwork.
• Maintain daily records and hours of service per DOT/state rules.
• Uphold safety standards during delivery and handling of freight.
• Carry out other duties as assigned and comply with company policies.
