Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Maryland to support a broadline distribution network. You will drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and related products to customers with safety and DOT compliance at the forefront.

This role offers a Monday–Saturday schedule, competitive pay with benefits starting Day 1, and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing/certification requirements; clean MVR in past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Ensure freight is properly loaded and secured.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Drive to deliver orders according to route schedule.
• Unload products and assist customers as needed.
