Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers to serve a broad range of customers, including independent restaurants, hotels and healthcare facilities. You will operate tractor-trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food and related products while upholding safety and DOT regulations.

Position offers training pay of $1,500 per week with an average of $100,000 annually after training, plus a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for 1+ year

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and road test.
• Have or obtain DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes to deliver and unload products.
• Perform pre/post-trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Ensure loads are secured and paperwork is accurate.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Report safety hazards and required repairs.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Maintain and complete daily hours-of-service records.
