US Foods in Twinsburg, OH is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver Trainee. You’ll be part of a team delivering to customers, navigating highways and tight docks, and unloading with care to ensure accurate, on-time service.

The role starts with a 3am–6am shift, pays $25.55–$28.55 per hour plus overtime, and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Eligible new hires may receive a $5,000 retention bonus after start.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Able to read/communicate in English and understand traffic/field reports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers safely and on time.
• Unload using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand with 100% touch freight.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
• Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.

This role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it’s about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight.Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.Physical RequirementsLift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects.
