Job summary

McLane is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers in the United States. Drivers earn $103,000–$109,000 gross per year, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 depending on experience, and day-one benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

As a CDL-A Teammate you’ll inspect vehicles, manage DOT logs, dispatch on the third shift, load and unload, and help ensure accurate delivery at customer locations. We emphasize safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• 3rd shift dispatch.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on road and customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
