Job summary

SYGMA Illinois in Danville, IL is seeking a professional delivery driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customers, completing deliveries and unloading according to invoices and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school acceptable.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated areas per customer specifications.
• Ensure all paperwork (logs, inspections, maintenance reports, invoices) is completed accurately and submitted timely.
• Maintain food safety and sanitary conditions in the vehicle and warehouse as specified.
• Develop good relationships with customers by providing excellent service and clear communication.
