Job summary

Imperial Brady is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our logistics team in a fast-paced environment. You will operate various CMVs on assigned routes, optimize deliveries, and ensure accurate documentation like BOLs and packing slips.

You will also perform daily DVIRs, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and adhere to safety policies. The role requires 1 year of CDL experience, a valid license with a safe driving history, and the ability to obtain DOT medical certification.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of CDL delivery experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL with safe driving history; Class A or B.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification and pass road test.
• HazMat or Air Brake Endorsement preferred.
• Prior forklift certification preferred or willing to obtain on hire.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for transport systems and data entry.
• Basic math skills for order verification.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight truck, box truck or CMV (26,001+ pounds) on the assigned route.
• Learn and optimize routes; ensure correct orders and proper documentation (BOLs, manifests, packing slips, HazMat summaries).
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report issues promptly; keep vehicle clean.
• Follow OSHA, DOT, FMCSA and company policies; complete safety training; handle HazMat materials.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers and management; maintain professionalism.
• Assist with loading/unloading, stocking inventory and general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Take ownership of customer needs with speed and urgency; maintain high service levels.
