Job summary

US Foods in Garland, TX is hiring drivers to safely deliver and unload products to customers. You will verify deliveries, collect payments where applicable, and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have valid CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/bev delivery
• Operator of manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
• Able to read and communicate in English and understand highway signs and reports

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
• Unload products with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand into customer storage areas
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
• Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
