Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Delivery Driver in Abilene, TX. You will safely drive to customers, unload products, verify deliveries, and collect payments when needed. A CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications is required, along with 6+ months driving experience, or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.

Must be 21+ and fluent in English. This role offers competitive hourly pay during training and potential higher earnings with component pay.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet delivery times.
• Unload products using two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
