Job summary

US Foods in Rapid City, SD is hiring a Delivery Truck Driver. Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to customers on schedule and unload accurately using a pallet jack or by hand.

You will verify orders with customers, collect payments when applicable, and maintain professional service while complying with safety and FMCSA requirements. Candidates must have a valid CDL A and be able to read and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL Class A with required endorsements.
• DOT qualifications and FMCSA compliance.
• Minimum six months commercial driving experience.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet delivery times.
• Unload products with a pallet jack or by hand and place in designated areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance client experience.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
