Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Dubuque, IA. You will drive tractor-trailer, ensure compliance with DOT regulations, and deliver products to customer locations across the day and night shifts.

This role offers a 3rd shift schedule with full-time status, comprehensive benefits from day one, and a 10k sign-on for experienced drivers. You will maintain logs, inspect vehicles, and support safety standards while contributing to McLane's nationwide service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and skill in maneuvering the vehicle.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temps and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
