Job summary

The Anderson-DuBose Company in Lordstown, OH is seeking a professional Driver to deliver products to restaurant customers, operate tractor-trailer units, and maintain safety standards on every route. You will complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries in multi-temperature environments.

Ideal candidates hold a Class A CDL, have 2+ years of CDL experience, and are familiar with DOT/FMCSA rules.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with handheld ordering devices or scanning tech.
• Delivery or stocking experience in multi-temperature environments.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Use PIT/MHE like electric pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Maneuver vehicles in congested spaces with limited room.
• Deliver products to customers and unload using appropriate methods.
• Provide excellent customer service to store personnel and consumers.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork.
• Handle returns as required and collect company assets.
• Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Complete training and certifications as required.
• Maintain communication with supervisor, dispatch, or coworkers.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
