Sonepar is seeking a Delivery Driver with a CDL-A to join our team in the Mesa area. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely to customers on scheduled routes, loading and unloading as needed, and maintaining professionalism and service quality on every delivery.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. You will contribute to efficient route planning, routine vehicle maintenance, and positive interactions with customers

Qualificações

• 6–12 months of recent and verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Familiarity with FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical with a current med card.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is advantageous.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer-service mindset with safe driving practices.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers on assigned routes.

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Verify delivery accuracy and maintain delivery logs.

• Address delivery issues or discrepancies with management.
• Assist with basic warehouse tasks when not on routes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Delivery Driver- CDL-A

The Delivery Driver (CDL-A) is responsible for transporting goods safely in a commercial vehicle or box truck for various routes to deliver products or materials. Ensures exceptional customer satisfaction with each delivery made. Valid Class A CDL license required.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver Goods: Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers as per assigned routes and schedules.
• Load and Unload: Assist with loading and unloading products, ensuring items are handled properly to avoid damage.
• Route Management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel and time.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally during deliveries.
• Documentation: Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining signatures, completing delivery logs, and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle checks, report maintenance needs, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.
• Problem Resolution: Handle delivery challenges, such as incorrect addresses or customer concerns, and report unresolved issues to management.
• Support Warehouse Operations: Assist with basic warehouse tasks when not on delivery routes, such as organizing inventory or preparing orders.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience: 6-12 months (+) of recent and verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Familiar with FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical with current valid med card in the state licensed.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is an advantage.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Skills: Safe driving record with customer service mindset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Basic communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical Requirements: Comfortable with long periods of driving and physically demanding tasks like lifting and carrying
