Job summary

QED in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a warehouse associate to support drivers, sales staff and customers with timely deliveries and accurate picking, packing, and loading. This role starts early and requires routine physical work in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will monitor orders, assist with will calls and PKs, coordinate routes, and help maintain data entry and paperwork in accordance with procedures. A High School diploma and familiarity with warehouse operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and powered industrial equipment preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude, good math and reading skills; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales orders throughout the shift; adjust routes and trucks to ensure on-time completion.
• Assist drivers with second run deliveries; load trucks; liaise between drivers, sales staff and customers.
• Support sales and warehouse teams with picking, checking and loading of trucks daily as directed by supervisor.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and associates.

A Brief Overview

Effectively communicate with drivers and sales staff to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Follow up with questions or concerns. Assist the warehouse staff with the pick and pack, will calls, pick up now orders (PKs), and truck orders

What You Will Do

• Monitor sales orders throughout the shift, take appropriate action to change routes, add trucks, ensuring routes are completed on time. All of these are same day adjustments. Assist management to improve route efficiency. Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist drivers with second run deliveries (OT-2). Pick and load the trucks. Assist the city desk with will calls and pick up now orders (PKs). Serves as liaison between drivers, sales associates, and customers to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Support sales staff with same day special delivery requests, pick-ups, and on time deliveries. Assist warehouse with picking, checking, and loading of trucks daily as directed by the shift manager or lead.
• Act in helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and associates.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED Required Experience
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and powered industrial equipment Preferred Skills and Abilities

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: 7:00am-4:00pm (Monday-Friday)
