Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to safely deliver and unload building materials while maintaining excellent customer service. You will operate within a fast-paced, team-based environment and report daily to the branch with an emphasis on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, documenting deliveries with photos, and ensuring all logs and government paperwork are accurately completed. A valid Class A CDL is required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A is required.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (most cargo will be 70 lb bundles).
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
• Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
• Knuckle boom truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to delivery schedule and follow all directives.
• Document each delivery with photos via camera phone system.
• Complete a load check before leaving the branch and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler to set and unload materials.
• Complete and file logs and government paperwork promptly.
• Provide customer with an invoice and collect payment on COD deliveries.
• Possibly perform warehouse loading/unloading as assigned.
• This position does not require over-the-road travel.
