Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is hiring a CDL Class A driver to join a team that delivers building products. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries from the branch to customers, load materials, and document each step with photos. This role keeps you home nightly and follows a Monday–Friday schedule.

Expect physical work lifting 70 lb bundles, strict safety protocols, and occasional warehouse tasks. Training provided; overtime possible based on need.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A is required.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (70 lb bundles).
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
• Flatbed, straight and/or knuckle boom truck experience is preferred.
• Semi tractor & trailer experience is preferred.
• Trailer mounted forklift experience is preferred.
• Crane certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure safety of each delivery from facility to customer site.
• Adhere to delivery schedule and follow directives precisely.
• Document every delivery step with photos using camera phone system.
• Complete load checks and secure all materials per regulations.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler on material placement and unloading.
• File logs and government paperwork accurately and timely.
• Provide the customer with an invoice and collect payment on COD deliveries.
• Possibly perform warehouse tasks including loading/unloading materials.
• Position does not require over-the-road travel.
