Job summary

Sysco’s SYGMA Columbus Team is seeking a delivery driver to transport products from the warehouse to customers, load and unload, and ensure accurate delivery documentation. You will work on routes with strict safety and food safety standards, maintain equipment, and provide superior customer service.

The role requires a High School diploma/GED and a Class A CDL with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience; benefits include paid holidays, weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, and a 401k with

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazmat guidelines.
• Safe lifting and delivery practices.
• Experience driving tractor trailers and delivering food service products.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, in all weather conditions and stores per guidelines.
• Ensures paperwork and logs are completed according to DOT and company rules.
• Maintains food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse areas.
• Builds positive relationships with customers through courteous service and clear communication.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
