Job summary

Sysco is seeking delivery drivers to serve the SYGMA Danville, IL team. You will operate a tractor-trailer, deliver to customers, unload and ensure accurate documentation according to company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted in lieu of or addition to high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Unloads product from trailer by hand or hand cart in all weather conditions according to customer specifications.
• Ensures paperwork (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports) is accurate and submitted timely.
• Maintains food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle, warehouse and yard.
• Develops and maintains good relationships with customers through courteous service and clear communication.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
