Job summary

Sysco's SYGMA IL team is seeking a delivery driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations and unload them per established standards. Routes are night and day, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and customer service.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT knowledge, and the ability to communicate clearly. Experience preferred, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401k options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures product is delivered on a timely basis, according to assigned route.
• Unloads product from trailer and scans delivered items into store per guidelines.
• Picks up, loads and unloads damaged goods and returns to SYGMA warehouse.
