Job summary

Sysco Sygma Illinois is seeking a delivery driver to transport and deliver products from the warehouse to customers, with 2–4 routes per week and a strong earnings potential. The role offers paid training, full benefits, and a path to top earnings with performance-based incentives.

You will operate a tractor-trailer, adhere to DOT regulations, and ensure accurate delivery and documentation while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required; 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL; insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, hazmat guidelines, safe lifting and delivery practices.
• Ability to drive tractor-trailer units day and night in varying traffic and weather conditions; read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer per route and delivers on time.
• Unloads product from trailer using hand cart; follows store receiving procedures.
• Completes paperwork per company and government guidelines (logs, inspections, maintenance, invoices).
• Maintains food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse as required.
• Develops good customer relations through courteous service and clear communication.
