Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver for our San Antonio, TX location. The role starts with training pay and transitions to component pay based on stops, miles, and cases, with early morning schedules and weekend work as needed.

You will safely navigate highways and city streets, unload 100% touch freight, verify deliveries, and provide professional customer service. Strong driving skills and adherence to safety are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Experience: 6+ months commercial driving (any industry) or 3+ months in food/bev delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required by DOT.

Responsibilities

• Safe driving: deliver products to customers timely and safely.
• Unloading: unload using two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand; 100% touch freight.
• Delivery verification: obtain signatures and confirm deliveries.
• Customer service: provide professional service and customer experience.
• Equipment inspection: pre- and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Account management: handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: perform other duties as assigned by management.
