Job summary

Performance Food Group in New Jersey is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to support our food service customers. You will operate a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, starting early and staying compliant with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A and 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure one.
• Able to lift 10-90 lbs and handle freight across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and coworkers professionally.
• Performs required safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Ensures timely delivery and proper unloading at customer sites.
• Completes all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Operates tractor/trailer and secures freight and equipment.
• Reports safety issues and repairs as needed.
• Performs general housekeeping in the loading dock and trailer areas.
