Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to service customers across Florida with intrastate and interstate routes. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck, perform safety checks, and ensure timely, accurate delivery of food and related products.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid CDL-A license.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Clean MVR for past 3 years.
Pass post-offer drug test and background check.
DOT Health Card current or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally to answer questions accurately and promptly.
Functions as a team member within the department and organization, and performs duties to best serve the company.
Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and inspects tractor/trailer to meet safety standards.
Reports safety issues and necessary repairs.
Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
Delivers and unloads customer orders according to predetermined routes and schedules.
Verifies delivery with customers and collects payments where required.
Completes required paperwork accurately and legibly.
Maintains vehicle and equipment, loads/unloads freight, and secures loads.
