Job summary

Tindell's, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver to safely transport building materials to local job sites and support yard operations. This is a home-daily, local route position with steady weekly pay.

Starting pay is $23 per hour with a solid benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. We seek safety-minded team players who communicate well and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• License: Valid CDL-A driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of truck driving experience (lumber or building materials experience is a plus!).
• Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Work Ethic: Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, customer service, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and safely transport building materials and unload orders to job sites.
• Conduct final checks on delivery orders for accuracy and secure loads for safe transit.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and operate vehicles in full compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Assist yard workers, forklift operators, and customers between delivery assignments.
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor when communicating with clients on-site.
