Job summary

Tindell's Building Materials is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to transport and unload building materials to local job sites, with a focus on safety and customer service. This local, home-daily role supports yard operations and requires a valid CDL-A license and a DOT physical, with a minimum of six months of truck driving experience.

The position offers weekly pay and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• License: Valid CDL-A driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of truck driving experience (lumber or building materials experience is a plus!).
• Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Work Ethic: Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, customer service, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and safely transport building materials and unload orders to job sites.
• Conduct final checks on delivery orders for accuracy and secure loads for safe transit.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and operate vehicles in full compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Assist yard workers, forklift operators, and customers between delivery assignments.
• Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor when communicating with clients on-site.
