Job summary

Performance Food Group in Madison, AL is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to join our foodservice distribution team. You will drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, unload at customer locations, and maintain DOT compliance.

Route schedules run Monday–Friday with early dispatches 3:00–5:00 AM; expect 12–13 hour days. We offer day-one benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth within America's food distribution system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (required)
• 6+ months commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL-A license
• Clean MVR in last 3 years
• Post-offer drug test and criminal background check required
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Deliver and unload products to customers on schedule.
• Verify deliveries, obtain signatures, and handle payments as required.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Maintain vehicle and trailers in good condition and secure all loads.
• Report safety issues and repairs promptly.
