Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver in Temple, TX to move products to customers and support key client relationships. You will inspect tractors, verify shipping docs, and ensure DOT compliance while delivering safely.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
