Job summary

Sheehan Family Co. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver in Everett, MA to safely operate our tractor trailers and deliver pre-sold products to customer accounts. A delivery helper assists with unloading and navigation, while maintaining product quality standards.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 5:15 AM with final times varying by route. We provide comprehensive benefits, paid time off, holidays, sick pay, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old to transport alcohol.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating tractor-trailers.
• Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:15 AM; end times may vary between 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts.
• Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas.
• Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck is secure and stable for transport.
• Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier.
• Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs.
