Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver for local routes in Manor, TX. You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, and institutions, building relationships with customers and ensuring timely service. The role involves unloading cases up to 100 lbs, using a ramp and two-wheeler, and maintaining a safe, efficient operation.

Schedule is Monday-Friday with early dispatches. Competitive pay includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with drivers averaging $70,000–$90,000 per year,

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required at hire or within 90 days.
• 1-2 years experience with Class A CDL.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Clean driving record per DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Must be registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.

Responsibilities

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: 13350 Old Kimbro Rd, Manor TX Trailer Drop

Local Delivery Route Driver - (Home Every Night and Weekends!)

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you'll be home every day. You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule: Monday-Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am - 5:00 am to finish

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire or within 90 days of start date
• 1-2 years experience with Class A CDL
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
