Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to service restaurants, schools, hospitals and more. You’ll be home daily with local routes, unloading cases up to 100 lbs and driving with ramp and two-wheeler from an early-morning start.

This role offers guaranteed weekly pay, daily base pay with mileage/stop bonuses, and benefits starting day one. A valid Class A CDL, clean DOT record, drug test, and age 21+ are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Class A CDL license required.
• Ability to operate two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Must be registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers such as restaurants, schools, hospitals, and institutions.
• Build relationships with customers and maintain on-time local routes.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs and use ramp/two-wheeler during shifts.
• Work Monday–Friday with early start times; home every day.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location

1500 N River Rd. Lithia Springs GA

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule

Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish

Pay

• Guaranteed minimum of $1300/week
• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Drivers average $68,000- $100,000.00/year

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th 2020.
