Job summary

Now Courier, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A driver for flatbed freight operations in Indianapolis. The role includes loading and unloading materials, operating a piggyback forklift, and ensuring safety compliance.

Weekly average pay ranges with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a $2,000 referral bonus. Most routes are home daily with potential weekend work. Requires at least 3 years of CDL-A experience, flatbed background, and a valid Class A license.

Job description

$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS | $2,000 REFERRAL BONUS AVAILABLE

• $1,300-$1,700 weekly average, based on an expected 50-hour workweek
• Base hourly pay starting at $32, plus overtime paid at time and a half for hour over 50 per week.
• Monday-Friday home daily with possible weekend routes available for additional pay.
• 7:00 AM typical start time,with a 10-12 hour shift. Daily start and end times will vary based on route completion and business needs.
• Flatbed freight, sometimes preloaded, no tarp. Lumber trusses and other construction materials. Occasionaldry van and box truck work.
• Touch freight will be required. Load, unload, and place materials using a piggyback forklift (Moffett) while following all safety procedures.

3 years of CDL-A truck driving experience REQUIRED, previous CDLA flatbed experience is REQUIRED. Previous Moffett experience is preferred.

Driver Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must hold a valid Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• An excellent driving record.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with a piggyback Forklift (aka Moffett) preferred but not required.

• Must have and maintain a verifiable Commercial Class A Driver’s License, demonstrated safe driving record, and remain insurable through the company’s liability insurance carrier as applicable.

This job operates primarily in a warehouse/vehicle environment with frequent exposure to safety/health hazard potential. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

While the offices of NOW Courier are open from 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, this job will require work beyond these hours and on the weekends.
