US Foods in Buda, TX is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver. You’ll safely navigate highways and city streets, back into docks, and unload with precision. Training wage starts at $28.44 per hour; after training, component pay may bring earnings to about $32 per hour.

Schedule Mon-Sat with Sundays off and one weekday; benefits Day One and opportunities to advance are offered. This role requires a valid CDL Class A, English proficiency, 21+ years old, and ability to lift 20–80 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A with required endorsements.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience (any industry) or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Must be 21+ and able to read/communicate in English.
• Able to lift 20–80 lbs and work in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Safe driving to deliver products on time.
• Unload products with 100% touch freight using appropriate equipment.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Handle account-related collections/payments when applicable.

The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it’s about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight.Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management.Physical RequirementsLift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects.
