Job summary

Walmart is hiring a CDL-A local driver in Opelika, AL for home-daily routes delivering to stores across Alabama and adjacent states. You will operate on 5- or 6-day schedules with day or night routes and no-touch freight.

This role features 1,800–2,200 miles per week, drop & hook, live load/unload, and potential backhauls. Trainees may be considered and a clean DOT Medical Card is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• First-seat experienced drivers welcome.
• Trainees may be considered.

• Must be able to work day or night schedules.
• Must be available for 5- or 6-day schedules as assigned.

Pay Details

• 5-day schedule: $800-1,200 per week
• 6-day schedule: $1,300-1,550 per week
• 5-day stop pay: $10 per stop
• 6-day stop pay: $10 first stop + $15 each additional stop
• $40 for loads under 51 miles
• Swift Driver Performance Bonus
• Additional pay for Walmart wait time and backhauls
