Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Opelika, AL is seeking a CDL-A Local Walmart Driver for home-daily routes on a dedicated grocery account. You will run 1,800–2,200 miles weekly with no-touch freight and slip-seat operation across AL, GA, and Southern TN.

5- or 6-day schedules are available with day or night shifts; competitive weekly pay with 5-day and 6-day options, plus stop pay and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• First-seat experienced drivers welcome.
• Trainees may be considered.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Must be able to work day or night schedules.
• Must be available for 5- or 6-day schedules as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to Walmart stores on home-daily routes with no-touch freight.
• Operate on a slip-seat basis with live load/unload and backhaul opportunities.
• Drive 1,800–2,200 miles per week across AL, GA, and Southern TN.

Pay Details

• 5-day schedule: $800-1,200 per week
• 6-day schedule: $1,300-1,550 per week
• 5-day stop pay: $10 per stop
• 6-day stop pay: $10 first stop + $15 each additional stop
• $40 for loads under 51 miles
• Swift Driver Performance Bonus
• Additional pay for Walmart wait time and backhauls
