Job summary

C.R. England, the premier long-haul refrigerated carrier, is seeking an experienced CDL-A driver for a Family Dollar dedicated account. Home weekly with a 34-hour reset and a mix of mileage and load pay. This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

You will typically cover TX and nearby states (KS, AR, LA, MS) with 2–3 loads weekly and 2–6 stops per load. Drivers unload freight using rollers, with bonuses up to 3% weekly for safe and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 3 months or more of Class A CDL experience.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight using rollers.
• Operate sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and 53-ft dry trailers.
• Drive long-haul routes with a mix of TX and surrounding states.
• Deliver 2–3 loads per week with 2–6 stops per load.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees

Generally, 75% of freight delivers in TX and the other 25% in surrounding states, including KS, AR, LA, and MS

There are on average of 2-3 loads per week with 2-6 stops per load. Divers average 1600 miles per week

Drivers will unload the freight using rollers

Home weekly for 34-hour reset

Mileage Pay

Load Pay

Sleeper trucks equipped with automatic transmission, pulling 53-ft dry trailers

Breakdown 24 hours - $200 per day

St George Backhaul Pickup - $15 per load, $15 for Dunnage

Clean DOT Inspection - $25

Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% Weekly

Driver Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL

21 Years of age or older

3 months of or more of recent Class A CDL experience

Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Life and AD+D Insurance
