Job summary

C.R. England is seeking an experienced CDL-A driver for a dedicated Family Dollar lane. This role offers weekly home time with a 34-hour reset, and typical miles with 2–3 loads per week across TX and surrounding states.

You will operate sleeper-equipped tractors on 53-ft dry trailers, with earnings from mileage and load pay plus bonuses. Requirements include valid Class A CDL, at least 3 months of recent Class A experience, and the ability to unload freight using rollers.

Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees

Generally, 75% of freight delivers in TX and the other 25% in surrounding states, including KS, AR, LA, and MS

There are on average of 2-3 loads per week with 2-6 stops per load. Divers average 1600 miles per week

Drivers will unload the freight using rollers

Home weekly for 34-hour reset

Sleeper trucks equipped with automatic transmission, pulling 53-ft dry trailers

Breakdown 24 hours - $200 per day

St George Backhaul Pickup - $15 per load, $15 for Dunnage

Clean DOT Inspection - $25

Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% Weekly

Driver Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL

21 Years of age or older

3 months of or more of recent Class A CDL experience
