Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team. You will drive a day cab tractor pulling a 48' or 53' van trailer, with home daily and start time between 6-9 AM.

Earn $32 per hour; OT after 45 hours. Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit. Paid vacation, PTO, and annual holidays. Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance; 401(k) with Company Match; Annual Profit Sharing.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license valid for interstate driving.
• Hazmat endorsement required to start.
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Must hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Age 21 or older and able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to daily manifests and pickup returns as needed.
• Ensure safety and security of tractor and freight; comply with DOT rules.
• Build strong communication with customers and account managers.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Hazmat is required to start
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
• Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance

CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing deliveries to location(s) based on daily manifest as well as picking up potential returns, as needed
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Building relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
