Job summary

Schneider National is seeking experienced truck drivers to haul general merchandise in double pup trailers from Gary, IN and surrounding areas. The role features 100% no-touch, 100% drop-and-hook freight, terminal-to-terminal routes mostly east of the Mississippi, and a pet-friendly policy.

You’ll earn mileage pay plus on-duty hourly pay, with sign-on bonuses and a weekly guaranteed pay during onboarding. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid orientation, PTO

Overview

• Haul general merchandise in double pup trailers.
• 100% no-touch and 100% drop-and-hook freight.
• Terminal to terminal, running mostly East of the Mississippi River.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first90 daysat Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.
