Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for our Team Dedicated fleet in Romulus, MI. You will haul general merchandise in double pup trailers with 100% no-touch and 100% drop-and-hook freight, terminal to terminal, mostly east of the Mississippi River.

Pets allowed on the road under our policy. We offer competitive weekly pay, sign-on bonuses, paid orientation, time off after 6 months, and a robust benefits package (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match).

Job description

Overview

• Haul general merchandise in double pup trailers.
• 100% no-touch and 100% drop-and-hook freight.
• Terminal to terminal, running mostly East of the Mississippi River.
• Take your dog or cat on the road with our Team Pet Policy.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first90 daysat Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.
