Job summary

CR England is seeking qualified truck drivers for its Metropolitan Warehouse team. You will pick up preloaded 53' dry van trailers in Mira Loma, CA and run expedited routes to warehouses across multiple states, returning to California.

Expect no-touch, expedited freight with CPM-based pay, and steady weekly home time. This lane serves drivers based in Southern California with access to the Colton, CA terminal and a vehicle for commuting.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• This lane is not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees.

Responsibilities

• Pickups of preloaded 53' dry van trailers in Mira Loma, CA.
• Warehouse deliveries in AZ, CO, IL, TN, FL, NC, MD, NJ and MA.
• Return routes back to CA.
• Mix of live unload and drop trailer locations.
• All no-touch, expedited dry freight.
• CPM split with experienced drivers.

Job description

Nine states sit on your delivery map with this Metropolitan Warehouse team account, from Arizona and Colorado out to Florida, New Jersey and Massachusetts, and every trip turns around and heads back to California.

You and your co-driver pick up preloaded 53' dry van trailers in Mira Loma, CA and run expedited dry freight on round-trip routes.

Routes follow consistent weekly schedules, and teams average 4,200-5,000 miles a week. Then you are home weekly for a 34 hour reset.

• Pickups of preloaded 53' dry van trailers in Mira Loma, CA
• Warehouse deliveries in AZ, CO, IL, TN, FL, NC, MD, NJ and MA
• Return routes back to CA
• Mix of live unload and drop trailer locations
• All no-touch, expedited dry freight
• Band rates based on experience
• CPM split

Truck Driver Home Time:

• Home weekly for a 34 hour reset
• Consistent weekly route schedules
• This account is for drivers living in Southern CA, with your own transportation to and from the Colton, CA terminal

Equipment:

• Company-provided tandem-axle sleeper trucks
• Automatic transmission
• C.R. England runs one of the newest fleets in the country

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
