Dedicated Semi-Local CDL-A Opportunity — Aurora, CO

Compensation Summary

• Projected Yearly Pay: $90,000 average.
• Base Mileage Pay: $0.70–$0.74 CPM (scales with tenure).
• Stop Pay: $32/stop.
• Training Compensation: $200/day (new hire); $20/hr (safety).
• Holiday Compensation: $349/day (6 paid holidays).

Operational Profile

• Base Location: Aurora, CO (Serta/Simmons DC).
• Weekly Mileage: 1,700 miles/week.
• Operating Territory: CO, KS, UT, WY, NE, SD, NM.
• Schedule Window: Monday–Friday (3:00 AM–6:00 AM starts); 10–12 hour shifts.
• Hometime / Rest: 1 to 3 truck layovers per week. Optional 6th day available.

Freight & Cargo Specifications

• Trailer Types: 53' Dry Vans & 28' Pup Trailers.
• Cargo Handling: Mattresses (100–300 lbs each).
• Unloading Method: Tailgating items to trailer tail or dock using manual effort.
• Route Structure: Dynamic single and multi-stop loads (average 14 stops). Pre-delivery customer calls required.
• Weather Requirement: Mandatory chaining capabilities for winter routes.

Driver Qualifications & Equipment Perks

• Experience Minimum: 3 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Assigned Hardware: Automatic single-bunk sleeper trucks.
• Yard Rules: Trucks stay parked at the Aurora account yard during time off; personal vehicle parking allowed on-site.
• Cross-Account Policy: Requirement to assist other JBI/DCS fleets when requested.
