Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A regional intermodal driver to operate in the Pennsylvania region. The role features 100% no-touch, drop-and-hook freight and routes from Philadelphia-area terminals to Ohio, Western New York, West Virginia, and Central/Western Pennsylvania.

You'll haul containers on chassis with a home weekly schedule and a 34-hour reset, typically on weekends. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, TWIC, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements within 30 days, and a clean driving

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• TWIC card required to hire; drivers may start after applying for the card.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required within 30 days.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement fees reimbursed with receipts.
• Safe and legal truck-and-container parking arrangement.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.

Pay Details & Schedule

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,850
• Average Annual Pay: $95,898
• Top Weekly Pay: $2,300
• Top Annualized Pay: $118,117
• $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus
• Mileage pay + stop pay
• Approximately 2,100 miles per week for drivers who manage their hours effectively
• Home weekly for a 34-hour reset, usually on weekends but sometimes during the week
• Schedules: Sunday–Friday or Monday–Saturday
