Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Regional Intermodal Driver for Pennsylvania operations. You will haul containers on chassis within a dedicated regional intermodal network, featuring 100% no-touch, drop-and-hook freight and routes from the Philadelphia area to OH, Western NY, WV, and Central/Western PA.

As a driver, you’ll typically be home weekly with a 34-hour reset, with schedules rotating Sunday–Friday or Monday–Saturday.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• TWIC card required to hire; may start after applying for the card.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required within 30 days.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement fees fully reimbursed with receipts.
• Safe and legal truck-and-container parking arrangement at home.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.

Pay Details & Schedule

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,850
• Average Annual Pay: $95,898
• Top Weekly Pay: $2,300
• Top Annualized Pay: $118,117
• $1,000 Holiday Start Bonus
• Mileage pay + stop pay
• Approximately 2,100 miles per week for drivers who manage their hours effectively
• Home weekly for a 34-hour reset, usually on weekends but sometimes during the week
• Schedules: Sunday–Friday or Monday–Saturday
