Highway Express is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated dry van program based in Knoxville, TN. Earn $1,400 to $1,600 weekly with weekend home time and $250 unload pay per load, plus mileage, stops, and detention as applicable.

Routes are regional with Southeast coverage, home every weekend typically Friday or Saturday. Trucks are Freightliner Cascadia under three years, 100% driver unload, and consistent freight assignments within the same customer network.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum three months of regional/local tractor-trailer experience in the past year.
• Experience with 40-foot or longer trailers.
• DOT regulatory standards compliance.

Highway Express is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated customer program running established regional lanes. This position offers scheduled weekend home time, consistent delivery routes, and defined freight assignments.

Drivers service the same customer network across the Southeast, with occasional Midwest deliveries. Routes are planned to return drivers home each weekend, typically Friday or Saturday. Staying within the same customer network provides a familiar freight setup and dependable weekly schedule.

Freight & Delivery Structure

Freight is 100% driver unload using roller carts.

• $250 unload compensation per load
• Dedicated scheduling with consistent weekly routes
• Southeast deliveries with occasional Midwest freight

Drivers remain with the same dedicated customer network rather than moving between unrelated freight.

Pay Structure

Weekly pay is $1,400 to $1,600, including CPM and $250 per-load unload pay. Drivers also receive mileage, stop, and detention pay as applicable. Company-paid orientation is provided upon successful onboarding.

Fleet Information

• Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmission
• Equipment maintained under three years old
• Take truck home permitted
• Assigned dry van trailers
• EZ Pass and PrePass provided

Tractors are assigned to drivers for a familiar equipment setup from week to week.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A CDL required. Minimum three months of recent local or regional tractor-trailer experience within the past year. Experience operating equipment with a 40-foot or longer trailer required. Drivers must meet DOT regulatory standards.
