Job summary

HWY Express is seeking CDL-A drivers for dedicated Southeast store delivery freight with weekly home time. You will operate late-model International LT trucks with 71-inch sleepers on routes serving Northern Florida, Eastern Georgia, South Carolina, and Southern North Carolina.

Earn $1,300 to $1,600 per week, plus stop pay and orientation pay. Enjoy 77 CPM, holiday pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage after 60 days, life insurance, and 401K with company matching.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum six months of recent OTR, regional driving, or local experience.
• Experience maintaining electronic logs.

• Ensure timely, safe delivery with no-touch freight.

Job description

Location: Columbia, SC 29201 | Home Time: Weekly (34–48 hour reset) Freight: Store delivery (no-touch) | Pay: $1,300–$1,600 per week + stop pay + orientation pay

• Dedicated Southeast store delivery freight
• Weekly 34–48 hour reset
• 77 CPM with additional stop pay

Reliable dedicated freight and predictable scheduling give CDL-A drivers a steady regional setup with weekly home time and consistent store delivery routes throughout the Southeast.

Compensation And Pay Structure

Earn $1,300 to $1,600 per week through our competitive pay structure. Our compensation includes 77 cents per mile, plus $20 stop pay after your first delivery of the day.

Short-haul assignments offer additional earning opportunities with $45 pay for routes under 50 miles and $35 for distances under 150 miles. Complete our comprehensive orientation program and receive $1,000 orientation pay for attending our 2-day training class in Nashville, Tennessee.

Home Time and Schedule

• Weekly home time every weekend for 34–48 hour reset periods
• Dedicated lanes serving Northern Florida, Eastern Georgia, South Carolina, and Southern North Carolina
• Consistent miles with no-touch freight operations
• Holiday pay bonus of $100 for working required holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day
• Secure truck parking provided at designated terminals

Equipment and Maintenance

Drive late-model International LT trucks featuring 71-inch sleepers, all maintained under three years old. Each truck comes equipped with APU units, inverters, and space for refrigerators to enhance your comfort during regional driving assignments.

Dry van trailers are used for these dedicated routes, with all maintenance handled through our partnership with Penske.
