Job summary

W.W. Clyde is seeking a Driver (CDL-A) to join our Transportation team in the Denver area. The role is based at Franklin Yard with a wage range of $28–$32 per hour depending on experience.

The driver will operate construction trucks (side dump, belly dump, lowboy, etc.), perform daily logs and inspections, and ensure safety on site while supporting other crews. A valid CDL-A, DOT medical card, and an insurable driving record are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Familiar with DOT regulations; maintain current CDL and DOT medical card.
• Must have an insurable driving record.
• Experience in heavy civil construction, road building and earthwork preferred.
• Attention and commitment to safety.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 20 lb.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction trucks safely and efficiently on and off highways.
• Vehicles may include side dump, belly dump, or lowboy.
• Complete required driver logs and recordkeeping.
• Perform daily inspections and report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Read and understand operation manuals for trucks and equipment.
• Identify hazards on worksites while working near heavy equipment and crew.
• Assist and work with construction crews; perform other duties as assigned.
