Job summary

Bob’s Discount Furniture in Solon, OH is hiring a CDL A Company Truck Driver for Drop & Hook, home daily (regional) with 95% drop & hook, no touch freight. You’ll operate a 53-foot van, deliver from distribution centers to stores, and maintain DOT compliance. We offer CPM up to $0.69, weekly $1,500–$2,000, sign-on bonus up to $3,000, PTO, benefits, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL License.
• Minimum of 1 year of all-weather CDL A driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major accidents.
• No alcohol or drug-related driving convictions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor with a 53-foot van trailer throughout designated regions.
• Deliver freight from distribution centers to stores and depots.
• Complete routes consisting of 95% Drop & Hook freight.
• Maintain compliance with ELD requirements, DOT regulations, and company safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is operated safely.
• All other duties as assigned.
