Job summary

American Driver is seeking drivers for the Memphis Regional Fleet who enjoy home time and steady miles. You’ll run routes with weekly home time, plan efficient trips, and handle no-touch freight while driving a 2021+ Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth.

Expect average weekly gross of $1,200–$1,500, with mileage pay based on experience, guaranteed pay on short loads, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus split over six months. Benefits include health/dental/vision and 401k; riders and pets welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have valid US CDL-A issued by one state.
• Minimum 3 months tractor-trailer experience (40ft+) in last 36 months.
• No DUI/DWI in past 10 years (5 if before holding CDL-A).
• Must pass hair follicle and urine drug testing and DOT physical.
• 21 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Be on the road with weekly home time and steady miles.
• Plan routes to balance miles with real home time.
• Maintain 100% no-touch freight with drops and hooks or live unload.
• Operate a 2021+ Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth.
• Earn weekly pay with bonuses and a $3,000 sign-on bonus (split).

Life on the Memphis Regional Fleet:

• Home weekly for your 34-hour reset, so you're never missing more than a few days at a time
• Route planning built to balance steady miles with real home time
• 100% no-touch freight means less hassle at every stop, split between drop and hook and live unload
• You'll be behind the wheel of a 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth

What You'll Earn:

• Average weekly gross around $1,200 to $1,500, with mileage pay based on your experience
• Guaranteed minimum pay on shorter customer-to-customer loads, so short runs still pay fair
• Detention pay at $12.50 per hour after the first two hours, plus $100 per day if you're laid over or broken down
• The Drive to Thrive bonus adds up to 3 CPM based on safety and productivity, starting your first full month on the job
• A $3,000 sign-on bonus, split $1,500 at 90 days and $1,500 at 6 months

Requirements:

• 21 years old or older
• Valid driver's license in the US or territories for the last 12 consecutive months
• Current Class A CDL issued by only one state
• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience (40ft+) in the last 36 months, or Extended Road Test eligibility with 6 months in the last 5 years or 12 months in the last 10
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no preventable accidents in 5 years, no more than 3 jobs in the last 12 months
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years (5 if before holding CDL-A)
• Must pass hair follicle and urine drug testing and DOT physical
