Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL A Driver (Boom Truck Operator) to safely transport, deliver, and place building materials at customer jobsites. This role blends driving with skilled boom operation, requiring compliance with DOT/OSHA and company safety standards.

You will work with dispatch and field teams to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient deliveries, maintain equipment, and deliver exceptional customer service on every job.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license in good standing.
• 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background checks.
• Experience operating boom trucks or hydraulic cranes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport, deliver, and place building materials at customer jobsites.
• Plan routes, perform inspections, and communicate with dispatch.
• Operate hydraulic boom equipment to unload and position materials.
• Load/unload materials, secure loads, and assist customers as needed.
• Maintain equipment and comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional communication.
